Not only do I blog about film I also love to make film. Sometimes it’s nice to take a break from your daily grind and step outside and breathe the fresh air.
Winter can be cold and gloomy but if you find the right activities it can be quite fun. I am joined by my brother, wandering tortuga on an urban adventure on Toronto Island. If you never been to Toronto island in the winter, I suggest you go at least once, especially during January or February when the lake is frozen. As the ferry is crossing through frozen lake, it looks straight out of the arctic. The island also feels like a ghost town, so it's nice to experience Toronto Island for once with out fighting through an army of strollers. Anyways, my brother and I did a leisurely hike and then we ended it off with some fresh outdoor coffee and spam ramen. Yes spam. It's really good! This was probably the coldest temperatures.
